- One pickup per week of one 95-gallon container and up to two extra bags per pickup

How can I sign up for service with A OK Trash?

When will my trash be picked up?
- One time per week on your scheduled day.

When do I need to put my trash receptacles out to ensure trash is picked up?
- Please place your trash receptacles at the curb the night before your scheduled pickup.

What holidays does A OK Trash Service observe?
- Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

What happens if my regularly scheduled trash pickup is on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day?
- Your pickup will be made one day after the holiday.

What happens if the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday?
- There will be no change in pickup schedule.

Will A OK Trash pick up during inclement weather, such as ice or snow?
- If our trucks can safely navigate the roads, all pickups will be made within one day of your scheduled pickup. Otherwise, your regularly scheduled pickup will resume the next week.

What types of trash are okay to throw away?

What types of trash are prohibited?
- Items such as auto parts, tires, car batteries, construction material, carpet or padding cannot be mixed with household trash. Please see our complete list
of prohibited items.

Will you pick up large items, like furniture or a mattress?
- We only pick up these items if you call us and schedule a special pickup. We must have a complete list of items to be picked up. There will be a nominal fee. Contact

Will you pick up yard debris?
- We will only pick up yard debris if you schedule a special pickup
for an additional fee. Contact
us to schedule a special pickup.

Do I have to put my trash in bags?
- Yes, please bag and tie all of your trash.

Will A OK pick up extra bags of trash?
- We will accept up to 2 extra bags in addition to your 95-gallon
container. Please place the extra bags next to your trash
container. There will be an extra charge for excessive trash.

Can I use my own trash container?
- You may use your own trash container, or we will provide a 95-gallon container if you prefer.

What happens if my trash container is stolen?
- You may obtain a replacement container for $65.

Do I need to sort my recyclables by type?
- No, A OK Trash provides “commingled recycling.” All recyclable items should be kept separate from household trash, but all recyclable items can be placed together.

Can A OK recycle boxes?
- Yes. Please break down boxes and place them next to your trash container.

Payments and Billing
When is my payment due?
- Payments are due on the 1st day of your regularly scheduled quarter of service. Click here for more information on billing

How can I pay my bill?
- You may pay your bill online, with a check by mail, at the office or by phone. A $1 fee will be applied to bill payments taken over the phone.

If I pay my bill online, when will it be posted?
- Online payments made before 2:00 PM will be posted the same day. Payments made after 2:00 PM will post the following day.

How much will I be billed when I start service?
- You will be billed 3 months in advance. In addition, if you start your service mid-month, the first month of service will be prorated.

When is my bill considered past due?
- Your bill is due the 1st day of the month. Your bill will be considered past due if it is paid after the 10th of the month.

How do you handle a returned check on my account?
- All returned checks are forwarded to Safe-Chek for processing and handling. Click for more information on returned

Can I cancel my service mid-month if I move?
- If you move, the final month of service can be prorated. Please contact the office as soon as possible to schedule your final pickup.
